An Update Regarding (COVID-19) From Provision Living

arrow down

By now, we are all aware of the growing concern around the Coronavirus (COVID-19). While it is important to note that there are no known cases of COVID-19 in any Provision Living buildings, we take the health and wellbeing of our residents, guests, and team members very seriously. Because our residents live close to each other, strong infection control practices are part of our standards of operation. As new and updated details of COVID-19 emerge, our team members are implementing plans to ensure we are as prepared as possible to combat this unique virus. While we can’t stop COVID-19, we are doing everything we can to be ready, including:

  • Following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) local and state government guidelines.
  • Providing ongoing training on infectious disease control for each Provision Living community, with an emphasis on handwashing, identifying symptoms in residents and team members, and screening visitors to the community.
  • Staying in communication with our families, including providing information on how to protect themselves and their loved ones when they visit.
  • Preparing a proactive response plan should there be signs of illness or should an actual outbreak occur.

In the event of an outbreak, our local Provision Living community clinical and operations leaders will formulate an action plan in collaboration with Provision Living’s home office clinical support team members. Rest assured that our response plan includes transparent communication with residents, their families, our team members, local medical professionals, and state and federal officials.

Our team of dedicated and experienced professionals will continue to stay informed about this virus. We will adapt our response as new information emerges and be sure to provide updated communication as it is warranted.
