Radiant Associates of the Month – February 2018

Misty Ogunnaike, CMA

Misty Ogunnaike (pronounced O gany kay) is one of our Radiance Associate winner for February. She was randomly selected from all who received a “Radiance Alert” in the month of February.

To spotlight Misty, let me tell you what I learned from our interview.

Misty was born on January 4th, she has 4 older brothers that have always treated her very well.

She is most proud of getting accepted into an accelerated nursing program. She starts on June 14th at Central Methodist University. We are very proud of Misty!

When asked why she likes serving seniors Misty said, “I only had one living grandparent growing up and she had Alzheimer’s Disease for as long as I could remember. Working here makes me have that “grandparent” experience I missed out on growing up”.

I asked Misty what famous person would she be thrilled to meet and where would you go? Misty said, “Beyonce and I would go anywhere with BBQ”. She knows all her songs.

Misty collects candles.

When growing up Misty wanted to be a nurse practitioner.

On Misty’s bucket list is to ride a jet ski. She lived close to Lake Michigan, but has never been on a jet ski.

If Misty won the lottery, she would get a money order to pay off ALL her school loans.
Her favorite color is black and her favorite sports teams are the Chicago Bulls

When asked what she has gained working at Provision Living, Misty said, “before working here I was very shy and reserved. Overtime, I have become more of an extrovert with consistent high energy in order to keep a smile on the resident’s faces”.
Thank you, Misty, for sharing your story and letting us get to know you better. Thanks for making a difference in our resident’s lives and being a great inspiration for our team. Good luck in nursing school.

Carol Fitzgerald, CMA

Carol is one of our Radiance Associate winner for February. She was randomly selected from all who received a “Radiance Alert” in the month of February.

To spotlight Carol, let me tell you what she shared with me.

Carol was born on May 18th, she has a son named Bruce (4) and her husband Barry.

She is most proud of the kind of person she has become.

When asked why she likes serving seniors Carol said, “she enjoys helping, being a friend, and listening to them”.

I asked Carol what famous person would she be thrilled to meet and where would you go? Carol said, “Reba McEntire and we would go to House of Chow”.

Carol collects ceramic cat figurines. Her favorite one is white with grey ears.

When she was growing up Carol wanted to just be HAPPY.

Carol’s bucket list task is to do many things. One item is to travel to Australia with her husband.

If Carol won the lottery, she would buy a new ranch style house with lots of windows.

Her favorite color is red. Her favorite sports teams are the MU Tigers

When asked what she has gained working at Provision Living, Carol said, “respect for the residents I am taking care of”.

Thank you, Carol, for sharing your story and letting us get to know you better. Thanks for making a difference in our resident’s lives and being a great inspiration for our team.
