GODFREY, IL - Wednesday, April 28th marks the grand opening of Provision Living at Godfrey, an $8 million independent and assisted living residence for area seniors. The residence will add 40 full- and part-time jobs in the community.  The open house is from 3:00pm - 7:00pm on Wednesday; with a ribbon cutting at 4:00pm. This event is open to the public.

"Provision Living is a positive addition to the Village of Godfrey, creating a new option for assisted living. Driving by daily to and from work, I have watched the progress of this project - what a great looking structure.  Now with the landscaping being installed, the development is near completion. Bravo! Job well done," said Godfrey Mayor Mike McCormick. http://www.godfreyil.org/

Residents of the independent and assisted living community experience a welcome home with a wellness center, restaurant style dining, community center, barber and beauty salon, transportation, on-site personal care services and many other amenities.

"We have been so grateful for the warm welcome we have already received from the community," said Provision Living co-founder and president, Todd Spittal.  "Now we are excited about serving the senior adults in the area and living out our vision of creating a radiant community where people are loved, inspired and thrive."

Health companies that provide services such as therapy, home health, and resources for those with disabilities will be in attendance. Stop by their tables to learn more about how they can help you or your loved ones.

Free senior fitness tests will be available including blood pressure, pulse and oxygen. Diabetes education will be given to those interested as well.

There will also be many great door prizes given away all day.

The fair will have a senior focus, but all ages are invited to attend. This will also be a great opportunity to tour the community and see all that Green Tree at Fort Harrison has to offer.
