Provision Living’s Team #Radiance Joins Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Supporting Elders and Families Affected by Alzheimer’s

PVL WC © (24 of 105)At Provision Living, we are dedicated to supporting the unique needs of individuals facing all stages of memory loss. We focus on providing personalized support to our residents and their families as they experience the specific challenges related to memory loss during the aging process.

The foundation of this commitment rests on supporting elders and their families through community outreach, educational programs, fundraising events and supporting organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Alzheimer’s Association is a nonprofit voluntary organization that is leading the way in research, care and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. One of the world’s largest fundraising events, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, is organized each year by the Alzheimer’s Organization in more than 600 communities across the nation.

ra•di•ance noun: a quality of brightness and happiness that can be seen on a person’s face; a warm, soft light that shines within something.

The associates and families at Provision Living at Columbia have established their own team, led by co-chairs Sharon Keitel and Donna Ostercamp, both of whom have mothers living in our memory care neighborhood. They are currently raising funds in preparation for this year’s walk, which will be held at Cosmopolitan Park on Sunday, October 1, 2017.

We decided upon Team #Radiance, a nod to Provision Living’s Vision: To create a radiant organization where people are loved, inspired and thriving. Our co-chairs agreed that our community was a radiant place, full of compassionate and dedicated people, from our leadership team to our care team associates.
